Jamison's Future Swings

Future Swings Hitting Academy is the premiere baseball and softball training facility in west central Illinois. Boys and girls as young as five can enroll in clinics to learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball. Top-notch hitting, pitching and defensive instruction, as well as strength and conditioning, and speed and agility training will be offered for young people through high school and college under the tutelage of former Major League Baseball athletes, scouts and other knowledgeable coaches in the region.

Future Swings is also a training facility for area high school baseball and softball teams who need a secondary practice location. The 15,000 square foots facility include eight hitting cages and a fully turfed infield designed for defensive drills and live games. The various spaces can be reserved by the hour on an individual basis or for an entire team.

Elementary school-aged students will have the opportunity to register for clinics throughout the year at Future Swings to them the foundations of baseball and softball. Junior high and high school offerings will be targeted at the elite athlete with aspirations of competing at the collegiate and Major League levels. Instruction is available for collegiate and adult athletes as requested.

Adam Jamison, a former All-State pitcher for the Beardstown Tigers and collegiate pitcher for Parkland College and Point Loma University, has dreamed of opening a facility that would utilize his knowledge and love of baseball, and help youth in the area improve their skills. He and his wife, Kristin, opened the facility in May 2018.
